ACSD Member Anthony DeFranco Featured by Atlantic Cape Community College
ACSD member Anthony DeFranco, an ASL Professor at Atlantic Cape Community College, was recently spotlighted by the college for his work commemorating Deaf History Month.
In March, DeFranco hosted a presentation on Deaf history in America — from the founding of the American School for the Deaf in 1817 to the present — at Atlantic Cape's Innovation Center in Mays Landing.
A Gallaudet University graduate and Atlantic Cape faculty member since December 2023, DeFranco has been a strong advocate for Deaf culture and awareness in the college community.
